Yes, this Wild M400 Macroscope with Digital Camera Capability is correctly described! The original photoport has been removed and replaced with a new unit that allows you to mount your DLSR camera (with the appropriate 39mm adapter to your lens mount- these are inexpensive and readily available on eBay). For the purpose of the photo, I have mounted (and tested) a Sony NEX-3 camera(Which is not included in the sale price but can be had for an additional $650)-which I chose because it will do both 14.2 MP photos and HD video! Great for teaching or photodocumentation, as you can use a HDMI to Mini HDMI cable to port the image the camera sees to a HD Monitor. I have found this a great way to precisely focus the camera, as a 22 inch HD monitor is very clear. This Microscope is in very good cosmetic condition and excellent optical condition and features the legendary Wild/Leica Macrozoom lens that resolves images that are flat and true to color- no distortion!
