The 71-4010 Alignment Collimator made by K&E is used to establish positions in reference to a line-of-sight and for checking Surveying and Optical Alignment instruments. The barrel of this instrument has been precision-ground to 2.2498" and meets A.I.A. Standards, and so, will fit all standard optical tooling holders and fixtures. The infinity target inside is graduated every 30 seconds with a total of 18 minutes of arc in all 4 directions from zero. A paired line target is centered on the objective lens. This can be illuminated with a 71-5520 lamphouse, or by mounting a 71-4111 eyepiece, can be converted into an autocollimator. Calibration at our NIST- certified Calibration Lab is available at extra cost.
