Description

The Wild Heerbrugg PG-1 Autocollimating Plane Surface Testing Instrument is used for the testing and alignment of precision machinery and equipment. It is a very rare instrument to find and is made with the same impeccable quality as all Wild instruments. Based in Heerbrugg, Switzerland, the Wild Company bought Leitz, B&L, Reichert, Kern, and others, kept the designs they liked best and became Leica. This Autocollimating Telescope has a precision-ground and hand scraped base, and to make it more compact, has a double-folded internal optical path. It can measure to an accuracy of +/-0.001mm in both the vertical and horizontal over a range of 200mm. The front objective measures 50mm. This is a kit, in the factory wooden case, with the original Wild mirror in its mount, the instructions, and the adjustment tools-all are included.
