The QuickSet Hercules QHP-1 Pedestal is a mobile stand many prefer in a multitude of applications. It is QuickSet part number 4-54504-2. As a sturdy, but portable Pedestal, it is used in Optical Tooling, Military, Video, Astronomy, and many other Scientific applications. Not cheap, but built like a tank. The Wheeled legs allow easy movement and the wheels can be locked. The rack and pinion operated central support can be extended up 2 feet. Load capacity is rated at 90 pounds, with a maximum height of 56" tall. The wheels will fit into a circle measuring 34"...which means this can me manuvered in tight situations, and this unit is often used as a video tripod. This is a lightweight unit- only weighing 35 pounds. I have these priced at less than 50% of new....
