Description

The Newport UTR80A Precision Rotation Stage is 80mm in diameter and has a through aperture of 40mm. It is a low-profile stage and its smooth rotation is insured by ball bearings running on precision ground tool steel races. By disengaging the clutch knob on the side, it can freely rotate over 360 degrees. When in coarse position, the clutch knob is clamped down and the stage drive can move the stage over 4 degrees with zero backlash. It can carry a load of up to 45 pounds, while maintaining an accuracy of 1 arc-minute. Made in France for Newport by Micro-Controle.
