Description

The Newport URM80APP Precision Rotation Stage will provide 0.001 degree resolution and utilizes crossed-roller bearings for precise, low wobble motion. The precision-ground and hardened worm gear is preloaded to prevent backlash, while able to drive this stage up to 20 degrees per second. The Newport stepper motor is their UE41PP which is a 1/10-step per encoder count mini-step drive. The Aperture in this stage measures approximately 1-1/8" inches in diameter, and can be used to drive polarizing elements. This stage has been tested for normal operation utilizing our Newport ESP300 controller and found to work fine. This stage is ESP compatible.
