Description

The Newport TBF-1550-1.0 Tuneable Bandpass Fiber Optic Filter is specifically setup to fine tune a narrow passband around 1550nm. By turning the Newport micrometer actuator, you can adjust the output by +/- 30nm. The typical tuning resolution is 0.05nm and this unit offers very low insertion loss and back-reflection. These have FC/SPC connectors at present, making them Newports option -50, but these can easily be cut off and re-terminated by the experienced user, as they come standard with long pigtails. These are tested and are working.
