Description

The Newport PRL-24 Precision Optical Rail is 24" long and is a precision dovetail rail design. These extruded aluminum rails are machined to exacting tolerances and then black anodized for durability. They offer machined slots to allow easy orientation on English or Metric breadboards and Optical Tables, or can be used as stand-alone bases for simple optical experiments. The PRL series uses PRC or PRX rail carriers. The edges of the rail are engraved with scales, one of which is metric, the other English for easier carrier location.
