Description

The Newport GON40-U Goniometer can be used alone or as the upper element of a two-axis goniometer setup. This unit is spring-loaded against the Newport SM-06 micrometer actuator (which is included in the price). The GON40-U offers +/- 5 degrees of travel with vernier markings at every degree on the stage. The center of the axis of rotation is located 15mm off the top of the stage. This stage can be locked into position by means of a setscrew, and can carry a 5 pound load in the horizontal plane. The top is drilled and tapped to accept 1/4-20 fasteners and also has 4 10-32 holes.
