Description

The Newport BGM50PP Goniometric Cradle is one of Newports BGM series of Goniometric Cradles. A Goniometric stage rotates on a transverse axis above the platform, giving unobstructed access to the center of rotation to the optical or optomechanical assembly mounted to it. This Newport BGM50PP has a UE41PP Stepper motor on it, which can be controlled with a Newport's ESP300, or XPS, or SMC100CC controllers. The motor can move up to 20 degrees a second for quick translation to a position, with repeatability to 0.004 degrees. Made of primarily Stainless Steel, with the goniometric cradle running on ball-bearings and a worm-gear drive.
