Description

This K&E 71-2023 Line of Sight Telescope is fairly rare. It is nearly identical in appearance to a 71-2022 Autocollimating Alignment Telescope, but lacks the micrometer knobs and Autocollimation port. This is now made by Brunson and is their model C47280-NAR, which indicates that this does not have a autoreflection target. In operation, this unit is similar to a 71-2062, but the focus knob is located on the eyepiece mount, instead of on the 10" long barrel. It is an excellent line scope for establishing or holding optical reference lines. Magnification is 30X at infinity. Focus is from zero (directly in front of the barrel) to infinity. The reticle is an all-purpose cross pattern. Meeting A.I.A standards, the barrel is 2.2498" +0"/-0.0003" in diameter. The telescope barrel is made of hardened and stabilized stainless steel.
