Description

This is a K&E 71-2022 Autocollimating Alignment Telescope made by Keuffel & Esser. These alignment telescope models are identical to the Cubic Precision and K&E Models but will have a darker green paint than the current models light green paint. These also have the Ivorine dials, same as the material K&E's Slide Rules were made of. I find these dials easier to read, but the are a bit more fragile than the metal dials you now find these equipped with. Now made by the Brunson Instrument Company in Kansas City, these now cost over $15K new. Specifications are: - Focus is from the end of Barrel to Infinity. with a 37 minute field of view at infinity. -Magnification is 4X at Zero Focus, steplessly zooming up to 46X at infinity - Effective Aperture is 42mm, all optics are fully coated -The reticle is an all-purpose, double glass unit with single lines right and top and paired lines at the bottom and left. - The eyepiece is provided with diopter correction, and provides an erect image. - The Optical Micrometer Dials allow measurement of -0.50" -0 - +.050" X .001" resolution. - The diameter of the barrel is the standard 2.2498", and the telescope meets all A.I.A Standards. The price includes a Fiber Optic illuminator for autocollimation, and a Certificate of Compliance. If you need NIST traceable calibration, please email me. I can have this calibrated, and then drop-shipped to your door from the Cal Lab. for additional cost.
